LOOSEBRAIN
Hector Viramontes, known under the pseudonym "loosebrain", is a Phoenix based artist whose work explores the subconscious connection between emotion and abstraction. Inspired by the abstract expressionists of New York, his work combines the looseness of gestural brush strokes with underlying themes of life, mortality and the shared human experience. His abstractions are combined with concrete elements to further communicate and connect with his audience. Nothing is left without purpose.
LAURA MADDEN
Laura Madden is a self-taught mixed media artist based in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, she reimagines reclaimed materials and found objects—items that might otherwise be dismissed as disreputable or disposable—as the foundation of her artistic practice. In 2019, she made the decision to pursue art professionally after recognizing it as her true life’s calling.
